I'm trying to look at Page 7 of the June Product Feedback sticky thread. It seems to have been hacked by Iranian Cyber-Terrorists...

Defaced By Ashiyane Digital Security Team

Looks like eH might have to upgrade the software running this forum.

Yup, definitely hacked.

Hopefully it is just a defacement hack, and not a hack into the user database.
Otherwise, all of us should start to expect lots and lots of sp?m messages from sc?mmers and other shady people.

It's a harmless Javascript defacement hack. When you look at source code of page 7, you can still read all the replies just fine within the HTML code.

The reply by "anti206" contains a URL to a Javascript on a remote server that replaces the page contents in your browser.

It's client-side dependent so some people won't even see it. If you turn off Javascript, the hack is disabled.

This is a poor reflection on the admins of this forum... hacks & vulnerabilities like this are well known and fixes are released regularly.

Looks like they better contact vBulletin for the latest version.

By looking at page source code, it appears so.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for flagging this. Our team is on top of this as I type, and we'll have this issue resolved as soon as we can.

We are confident that no user data has been compromised as a result of this and the system that runs eHarmony Advice is completely separate from the system that runs eHarmony.com.

Apologies for any inconvenience. We’ll post an update once this is completely resolved.

Best,
-Lori

User "anti206" posted a URL link to a Javascript located on an external server.

Simply, delete his posting and the page should work again. Then upgrade vBulletin to prevent another one.

I was able to delete the posts causing the issue. Hopefully this takes care of the issues.
