i a little tiered of being closed/ignored... can you guys help me out? maybe i am coming off as some kind crazy religious nut? or too artsy? not sure what i am doing wrong here... any critique would be greatly appreciated! and thanks in advanced!

Age 29
Location California, United States
Occupation: Background/Environment Artist
Height ft. in: 5'11"
Education: Bachelors
Want Kids: Yes
Ethnicity: Other
Religion: Christian
Denomination: Eastern/greek orthodox
Smokes: Never
Drinks: A few times a year

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My God Jesus Christ. whenever i am faced with adversity, i try to remember what God had taught us: how to love each other, to never judge people and always be at peace even at the most troubling times.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
I am looking for someone that I can share my passions with: God, art and nature. I am looking to build a relationship that is based on love and support. To help each other to be better Christians, and to be good people over all. I am looking for an honest, modest and a calm person. i am looking for someone that I can love and respect and build a future with.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I am always known as the nice guy, very polite to people. i always try and be helpful to others.

What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?
Even though i might come off as too much of a joker, i can be serious when i need to be.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
God, family and friends
wacom pen, so i can paint.
art and music, for inspiration and relaxing
video games(its my job!)
the Beach! blue sky, awesome water, and sand!

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
"Harley Brown's eternal truths for every artist" basic theories about painting. Harley brown's message is to never give up and keep painting no matter what.

Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?
One of my favorite Bible verses: "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16

What are you most passionate about?
i love painting backgrounds, digitally and traditionally. i love listing to movie scores while i paint, very inspiring. I love learning about art and history. I would love to do more traveling in the future, explore the world!!! and I love my church, and reading the bible.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
My loving Family and Friends.
Successful career. I love my job.
Art, its amazing.

OK, so here is my take on your profile.

First, I notice you have a lot of typos. This can be a huge turn off. Use your spell check and check your caps, every I should be capitalized.

Using God as most influential, especially when you mention your religion so many times in the rest of your profile can also be a huge turn off. Try picking a real live (or dead) human. Brother, Priest, Best Friend, whomever you want.

You listed more than one thing and really nothing specific. Is integrity or honesty the trait you look for or is it being religious, which isn't really a quality as much as a life choice. This is also the second place I see religion mentioned. Once is usually enough in any profile. Typos again.

This is very generic and not to memorable. What else do you have to offer.

This is OK, but again, not memorable. You say you are a "joker" which implies funny, but I don't see anything funny in your profile. Show your matches how you are funny.

Third mention of religion. Just saying. It get's redundant and makes you seem like a religious "zealot" or "freak". Even the most religious of women would probably be reaching for the close button at this point.

Your list is OK, overall. I might suggest changing just a little. "Wacom pen, they are great for painting" sounds a little more exciting. You have some spacing issues and caps issues again. The less effort you put into making sure you spelled everything correctly, the more likely a woman will close you.

Did you like it? You gave a good, short description but didn't let your match know what you thought.

What is this, fourth or fifth mention of religion? Geesh, enough already. pick one or two spots and don't let it bleed over into everything on your profile.

Leave out the last two sentences. You were fine until you left the original subject. Typos and caps.

Hey, at least you didn't say your church or God. Fairly good list.

You really need to clean up all the un capped "I"s and other little typos. And, again, once or twice only for the religion.

Sorry if I seem harsh, but there doesn't seem to much more about you than art and religion. Give your matches more.
