I recently filled out the questionnaire and got the following result: "We're very sorry, but our matching system cannot predict good matches for you." I feel I must have clicked a wrong button since Chemistry.com had several matches a few months ago. For some reason though, I am completely locked out from making any changes. I e-mailed customer service once, but they gave me a form letter that didn't address my question whatsoever.
Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it? Is there any way to reset my questionnaire, or will I have to log in from a different e-mail account and start over again?

Sometimes the system won't have matches for you immediately. You can adjust your settings and reclick the Find Matches button. If you do that, click on it and let it do it's thing, then click on it again if it still hasn't found any matches. eH's system is a funny thing some times.

Also, your photos might not be available to other members, so if you do get any matches from this, they won't be able to see them, yet. Just a heads up. It might be worth it to wait a day or so, so your photos are up. People close for no photos quite a bit.

It sounds to me like he was rejected entirely from the site, and doesn't know why.

Correct. I have no way to adjust my settings, I can't change any preferences, I can't do anything except Log Out and one link to a "Free Personality Profile". Its kind of odd and makes me think that I did something wrong.

Hi hwilson,

You might get a better result calling Customer Care rather than emailing them. That's been my experience.

I had a friend of mine fill out the eHarmony questionnaire and she also got no matches as well. Kind of saying you are not matchable... I would take the quiz again and just use a different email if you are really interested in joining the site.

This definitely sounds like a case for contacting the Help desk directly. Recently a match was removed/cancelled from the website. I couldn't access the website for almost 3 days. I was still getting matches, however, I couldn't get in to view them. I contacted the Helpdesk. I got no response, but the next day I was able to pull the website & login. Never hesitate to contact them. That is what they are there for.

This is taking this thread in a different direction, but...I am finding that I am having to compromise my standards in order to find matches. When I signed up this time I received no matches. I contacted Help & they had me take the initial survey again. That did bring up a few matches. Then I began to see a LOT of flexible matches. That slowed & I began to lower my standards before I saw more flexible matches. Most of these matches are flexible based on distance. Long distance matches are difficult, I know from personal experience. They also tend to sit in your match folder because they are difficult. I am one who waits for the man to initiate communication because if he isn't interested the relationship is going no where. When they are so far away they usually aren't interested. My match folder is an example.

OK, my bad. You do need to contact Customer care. Basically, the eH system rejected you entirely. That means you answered one of their very important questions at the end incorrectly. Can you all remember what those are, cause I do.

This happened to me when I first signed up, and then suddenly my account worked a few months later after I turned 21. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
