How much time should there be between messages sent in Open Communication? Should I reply if I haven't heard from him in 24 hours?

Give them time to answer...not everyone has a "crackberry" or sits by their PC, waiting to reply back.
I would wait a couple of days for messages to be read...at least 48 hours.

Well, 24 hrs is a pretty short amount of time. I personally would not keep sending messages, usually just reply when he does msg me. Give him a chance to reply, even if it's a week or so and go from there. Just my newb opinion.

Thanks, that's what I thought was best but was not sure. I'm hoping it's not over so soon...

Hi Nvgt,

I've even heard of people waiting longer, and even people who waited longer who ended up in a relationship with the match they were waiting for. Who knows what could happen. eHarmony has generally encouraged giving these types of situations two weeks before closing the match. This gives them time for other life events they could be experiencing -- travel, technical, etc.

Good luck!
