I don't want "the man for me" to need me, I want him to want me.

Hi,
I'm not signed up with E-harmony dating. Not sure I want to do that right now. But, I am signed up on the E-harmony dating advice discussion and social network site. My question is, since the dating advice discussion and social network site is not a dating site, could I still put a link to my facebook account on my profile page? I had read the terms and agreements, but am unclear. It say that third party links are prohibited on the dating site. That is a given! But, what about the discussion and social network site?

Rarepearl4jesus –

Welcome to eHarmony Advice!

Thanks for asking such a relevant question. Since everything you post to eHarmony Advice is public, we ask members not to post information that could expose personal contact information (such as Facebook or e-mail address, phone numbers, etc). You’ll see this outlined in Section 7 of the Community Standards: Community Guidelines for eHarmony Advice

I’m glad you’re here and hope you will take full advantage of our forums on dating, relationships, and more. You may also want to check out our groups for any special interests you may have; it’s a wonderful place to make connections.

I should mention that once you’ve established connections with other members through posting and “Friend requests”, you can always send a private message with your personal contact information. We just encourage members to use discretion and be safe.

All the best,

~Kate

Thank you! I'll use good judgment, and keep in with the terms.
