I'm a bit perturbed with eH and the runaround discounts I'm getting lately. I let my last subscription expire because I know I paid way too much for it. I thought I might use a promo code for something a bit less expensive but am having a hard time finding one that will work.

I contacted customer care, and as nice as they were, could not offer me something I can afford at this time. They did, however, offer me a buy one get one free kinda offer. Well, then a promo code showed up in my e-mail box. I thought this had to be as good if not better than the BOGO offer, right? Wrong. It was MORE than what I was going to pay to renew my previous subscription.

Come on, eH! Give me a break! You want me to now pay not just more than the discounted offer you offered over the phone but more than my last subscription?

I don't usually complain about eH, but this really ticked me off.

I want to resubscribe, but not at the rates being offered to me. If you can give $9.95 a month to someone else, you can sure the heck give it to me!

Why don't you just wait until the next FCW? If past performance is an indicator to future performance then a FCW should be coming up in about two weeks.

Andie when I let my subscription expire I got a slew of offers from EH and they were all over the map, way different prices. It's odd they do that.

I think I will probably re-subscribe at some point, and my plan is to see what comes up over a month or so ... but eventually just pick something and pay it.

How do you know someone got $9.95/month? I think my lowest offer was $19.95/month for a 1-year subscription.

On further thought ... I wonder if they offer lower prices in markets they're trying to expand into ... geographically, demographically? Or, if they charge more to people in higher cost of living (and higher wage) areas? Not much you can do about stuff like that.

Yea, mine too but it was for only 3 months.

The most I've paid is $19.95/month (when I initially subscribed); the least I've paid is $9.95/month (which is what I've paid most frequently). In all cases, I've gotten 3-month subscriptions per pop.

I'm not sure what offers are working now, but if you Google the eharmony blog and promotional codes, you are bound to end up on an excellent site that compiles this info.
