Not really sure if this is actually going to post, but someone said "copy and paste", so ....here goes.

The one thing Anna is most passionate about: Whether a relationship is with God, a spouse, family, or a friend, I have found that although all relationships require work, investing quality time has always been worth the effort. I am passionate about being available when God presents a task~ sometimes I ask Him "are you kidding?" and after I follow through, the blessing is realized. I am a Labor & Delivery nurse, so I certainly love being a part of new lives.

The most important thing Anna is looking for in a person is: A partner that loves God, and is open to what God wants for his life. Also, openness and honesty, because I believe that being truthful is what builds trust and respect.

Basic Information

Occupation:RN Age:46Height:5' 2"Wants Kids:NoKids at Home:Yes
Ethnicity:White, non-HispanicReligion:Christian Drinks:A few times a yearSmokes:Never

In my own words

The most influential person in Anna's life has been:

My maternal grandmother, who first introduced me to God and then lived her life in a manner that evidenced her love for Him, and her family.

The three things which Anna is most thankful for:
  • God loves us, even though we don't deserve it and are blessed only through His grace.
  • Being blessed with three beautiful children who have grown up to be respectful, kind and good citizens.
  • Work in a career where in addition to earning a good living, I am able to help others in a compassionate manner and make a difference in their lives.
Three of Anna's best life-skills are:
  • Being a good friend and companion
  • Sharing my beliefs through teaching, participation, and example
  • Cooking for my family and friends

The things Anna can't live without are:
  • God in my life
  • Close Family
  • Great Friends
  • Good health
  • A partner to share the Blessings!

The first thing people notice about Anna is:

That I have a spark for life and a love for God that enables me to feel comfortable in nearly any social situation and make others feel the same way, In addition they seem to marvel that I and can see the positive side to almost anything.

Some additional information Anna wanted you to know is:

I am really interested in finding that one special person I can trust and respect above any other living soul. Someone who will honor and cherish me because he knows that in addition to being devoted and loyal, I'm nuts about him... and always will be. There will be a great comfort as we have similar goals in trying to live out the life God wants for us...whatever that turns out to be. It is sure to include intimacy, both families, good friends, and as we get older... more time together for just the two of us participating in a common interests we have grown to love together.

My interests

Anna typically spends her leisure time:

I love to cook and bake for people that love to eat and getting folks (related or not) together for "family dinners". Movies, bible study, volunteer work for the March of Dimes, college football games, and local fun events / festivals with my children have kept me busy. Lunch with my girlfriends, pedicures & exercising are all good for recharging my batteries. My last child will be 18 in July, so it is likely that my leisure time will be soon be spent differently. While I like to go on cruises and travel, perhaps the person God has planned for me will expose me new experiences.

The last book Anna read and enjoyed:

Presently reading Woman of Influence, Ten traits of Those Who Want to Make a Difference. It's a book about how being connected to God prepares you to use the Gifts He has given you.

According to my friends:

Anna's friends describe her as:
  • Spiritual
  • Genuine
  • Hard Working
  • Caring

I like your profile. I take it you want someone who is very much into the church and God. That will narrow your matches but thats OK if that is what you want. Other then that, the only other thing is your pic. Its a nice pic but has poor lighting.
Good luck and be patient.

Thanks for your help. I DO want someone into church and am willing to wait for that. Just wanted to make sure it doesn't come across as a "frumpy church lady" because Christians CAN be fun!

My thoughts on first read follow. They aren't meant to be harsh, but they are meant to be honest and not candy-coated.

Passion section - I read it twice and have no idea what you're passionate about. You didn't answer the question. "Being available when God presents me a task" is not informative - you probably know exactly what you're talking about, but I don't.

Things you can't live without - Family and friends are not things. Yes, lots of people say this, but that's a dodge of the question and shows a lack of imagination. All your answers here are redundant to other things in your profile.

Additional information you want known - a romantic love-bomb at the end of the profile is unnecessary. We're all here for essentially the same reason. The end-profile love-bomb is counterproductive.

Everything else in your profile I thought was either good or very good. Hope this helps!

I agree - I know plenty of church ladies who are not frumpy. But I also know plenty of church ladies who ARE frumpy.

Church can fold neatly into the rest of your life, or it can be a walled garden that dominates your life to the exclusion of the secular world. Profiles like yours often ride the fence, forcing your reader to guess which side you fall on.

Just a thought.

I like your profile. It's well written and friendly, and I think it does come across as what you say you're trying to get across: deep Christian who's lively and fun-loving. I think the type of men who will respond well to it will probably be the type you're interested in.

You have a couple little typos, see below. I don't really see anything to change.
