I'm really enjoying talking to a guy in Iraq. At first, he'd respond within the day, but now it's every other day. I have friends in the military who say when deployed there you get plenty of opportunity to email, and I know his job is in an office. However, I don't want to dismiss it like he's not interested if maybe it's a deployment thing. He's never mentioned being busy or why he stopped responding quickly. What do you think?

Long distance is tough, things come up, and a long-distance bf/gf can't always be first priority.

I'd assume the best, at least in the short term.

You might get plenty of time to email, but then you might have to do duty for a mission for the next 24 hours...
A lot depends upon branch of service, rank and MOS..
He's still on gov't servers so he has to be careful about what he says to you.
I say give it more time.
