I'm a guy who loves numbers. So after reading some bandied about numbers on this board I'll do the math and post numbers.

I signed up for the service in the beginning of march as a free member. As of 4/21 I signed up as a paid member so I could communicate. I have received to date 327 matches. As of 4/29 I put everyone I hadn't pre-closed (No pic, very far away) on guided communication. I took a 1% sample and sent them personal emails (3). As of 4/29 I have had 47 different views of profile. 15 which were anonymous.

Stats:
327 total
3 Direct Email straight off the bat
192 set to communicating through guided
128 archived/Closed (pre-closed, some were closed during my non-communication period)
4 matches had profiles removed.

As of 4/29
0 responses to guided communication
6 Closed after guided communications initiated
1 Direct email declined

I will update frequently

Maybe they don't like your profile or photo.

I'm in Stage 4 open communication with about 7% of matches where I've initiated Guided Communication.

We can throw numbers around all day but it's still all going to come down to your photo, profile writing skills, and communication.

Was your 1% email sample random or did you pick the ones that interested you and it turned out to be 1%?

I think I'm good, I'll let the statistics tell me when to re-tool my profile. Right now after less then 2 weeks of it being "real" its simply way to early to make a decision.

I came to this because of alot of complaints and banter on this board about contact rates and no real solid backup data. So I'm offering up my own experience as a guinea pig.

Geez, don't bash the guy for running a test and reporting his results.

Obviously the profile and photos will have an effect. Did you think we didn't know that?
