Hi!

I've reached OC with two different people at two different times. With both of these OCs I've replied to the messages they've sent me using the open box provided by EH and then hit send. I figured that this is like replying to a regular email and that the person would get it and receive notification of the new message but now I'm not sure. After sending the messages the orange box (I like to call it, "who's turn is it box") still says that I can reply to their message. Does this box not change to "waiting for match to respond" anymore? I ask because with the first OC I never heard back from him, after a quick GC and OC start and now with this second one, I've yet to hear back from him. This second OC is quite new, so I'm giving him time to respond, but I just found it odd that the box doesn't change. I'm just unsure if I'm replying the correct way.

In Open communication you are free to send emails whenever...you dont need to wait for a reply.

There is a box to send a new message with a new subject line instead of replying to an old thread.

You could send then 5 emails in a row before they reply to you.

Thank you! I just wasn't sure if I was doing it right because it said I could still send another message. Makes sense that you can send as many as you'd like since it's "open communication". Haha.

Are you notified that you have a new message, or that someone has replied to a previous message, after the first email is sent? Sorry for sounding less than intelligent.

If it says Respond to him message, you have not sent him a message. It it says Send him a message, then you have and can send one any time.

And you should receive a message saying you received an e-mail from those matches when they send one.
