I have reached the email communication stage with another user, and we have had some back and forth already. However, for the past week, I have not been able to send her any messages. Every time I try to reply to a message she sends me and click the "Send Message" button, I get taken to a blank screen.

Normally I use Firefox 3.6, however I figured this issue might be browser related. I tested in IE8 with compatibility mode and without, I get the following error message:


Considering this is a paid service, this is not cool. It doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be any way to actually contact eHarmony directly. I have to go through this message board.

Sounds like you need to contact customer service. There is a thread posted at the top of this boards page that has the phone number for eHarmony.

Are you putting any type of link to a website in your email?


Also take a peek and this recent thread. Sounds like the same issue

Hi Eggy,

Sorry you’re having this issue! Customer Care is the best bet here (thanks TrekRyder10). I think, TrekRyder10, the Fatal Error topic is about eHarmony Advice, though? It may be a different issue, actually.

In the meantime, Eggy – have you tried to write her a new message instead of replying? I agree that since you are paying, and your potential connection is on the line with this match, we need to get this fixed asap. Make sure you include your match’s name, location, age, and a really good description of the error in your message to Customer Care.

I've sent a message to them. We'll see what they say. On the question of trying new messages, I've tried that as well. They all time out.
