Well, I requested communication w/someone who later sent me an icebreaker. "Nice pic.....would like to see more" or something like that. There is not a good icebreaker to respond with and I have no clue why he wouldn't just go ahead and answer my first set of questions. ANDDDD.....his icebreaker is creepy in my opinion......I don't think I like any of them, actually. I'm trying not to judge him as a person by the icebreaker he chose and by the fact that this is how he responded to my request for communication. Is it just me, or is this all a bit....weird? I dunno.

If you sent him the first set of questions, and he responded with an ice-breaker. Then there is a good chance he is a non-paying member. Ice-breakers are the only form of communication they can use, unless it's a FCW (free communication weekend)

Since he used IB the nice pic would like to see more.. I am guessing you only have one photo uploaded. Which is probably a head shot.. If that is the case..I don't blame him.. Your profile should have at least 3 pics..head shot, full body and maybe a group photo.

But then that specific ice-breaker he used wouldn't make any sense.

If I am not mistaken...nonpaying members shouldnt be able to see pictures. Only paying members can see pics.

This means he is either a paying member and wants to see your body before communicating...or he is a non paying member who thinks he needs to request your photo---so he picked the closest fit choice with seeing your picture.

You are correct...NPM cannot see photos.

my bad..

This is something I wish they would change. I would not be against non-paying members be able to view a single photo.

Thanks all. I do have a head shot and a full body shot, hence a bit creepy. I plan to put more pics on there, but there already isn't more of ME to see. I don't like this one bit..nope...not one bit ) gotta laugh a little though

Like the others have said, odds are that he is not a paying member and can only respond with an icebreaker.

What I'm curious about is what, exactly, makes this icebreaker creepy?

Well, I think it's creepy because what more could he possibly want to see? Sheesh. I do only have two picks, but like I said, one is a full body shot. And I sent him request for communication and he responded w/the ice breaker. I'm cranky with this dating stuff, humph...
