Some numbnuts on EH that I don't know keeps sending spam messages. How do I put a stop to it? Thanks.

Joti.. You are talking about the singles site and not here.. correct?


If you feel concerned about any of your matches, the most direct way to alert eHarmony is by e-mailing our Match Concerns department at matchconcerns@eharmony.com. Make sure to include the name of your match, their location, age, and a detailed description of your reason for concern

Possibly related, I've been seeing several blank messages from eHarmony Advice showing up in my email. There's nothing in the body of the email and the subject is something like "New message from eHarmony Advice." I forget the exact wording, but it looks like the same notification for a PM except it doesn't have a user name.

Joti I too am confused as to where you are getting these messages. As TrekRyder10 said if it is a match on the eHarmony dating site that you have a concern with then you should report it at the link that he provided.

If you are getting inappropriate PM messages here on the Advice site I would send a PM to Lori directly with the information as to the user name.

If you are getting e-mail in your regular e-mail that indicates it is from eHarmony yet is $pam and has nothing to do with eHarmony, this is not coming from eHarmony at all and they have not released your information to someone else. The $pam generators have bot that find e-mail addresses and then just generate junk messages to those e-mail addresses. This type of thing you should report to your ISP. Though in a few days they will quit on their own.

If it is something else give us a little more information on these messages.

Is this in your personal e-mail?

I don't have notification e-mails for when I get a PM but every once in awhile I will get a message from Advice on some particular articles and I did just get one of those within the past couple of days. It was legitimate and not blank.

For future referencing, so there is no confusion.
eH = is singles site
eHA= advice site..
