When I've tried to type in web addresses for links I have wanted to post on this site they have been posted. Also, when I've copied and pasted images I want to post these don't come out either. Can someone tell me how to do these things on this forum? Thanks.

Posting a picture:
Click on go advanced
In the menu bar: click on the paper clip (pops up manage attachments)
Click on browse to upload picture from your computer or enter a URL
Once pic is selected: click upload
Close window
Back in the post window, set your cursor to where you want the photo to appear: click on the paper clip again, and select your picture (jpeg, etc.)

When I type www it automatically will create one www.jayjay.com

To create a hyperlink.. click on the globe with the link in the menu bar above.

Hope that makes sense

Yes, I am uploading the file file first. I even tried doing this in both Firefox and Explorer....and after uploading when I click on the paperclip nothing happens.

Okay... does the file exceed the max size for the filetype(19.5kb)

When your in the manage attachments window.. If the file is uploaded correctly, It will display just below the upload url box

and read.. 'current attachments' with the size..
Attached Images
File Type: jpg shoe bike.jpg (3.9 KB, 18 views)

Jayjay - will the pic show if you "preview" your message? You just may not realize that it's attached...

BTW - you can also insert pics from the web into your message by clicking on the little picture icon (with the mountain) and adding the link (you may need to right click on the image, and then pull up the properties to get the actual link to the image, which usually ends in "jpg").

To just post a link to a page, click on the icon with the paperclip under the globe...

Ok....I see what was happening. After clicking on the paperclip the link for the attachment is appearing across the screen in the frame of a commercial where I wasn't seeing it. I think I have it now.
