Hey everyone! Hoping you can help me out with something.

My profile said it was 100% complete yesterday, but suddenly says it's only 79%. I've heard of profiles going down to 95% when they don't have relyID, but since I'm on eHarmony UK, I can't get that and it doesn't show up on my profile. And even if I could get it, there's the issue of my percentage being 16% lower than those lacking relyID.

On my homepage, everything is checked off, since I've done it all. Can anyone tell me why I'm only at 79%?

Thanks!

Hi Jessica888,

We recently added a new feature to our U.S. and Canada Singles user profiles: Something to Talk About.

This feature allows you and your matches to share likes and dislikes in a variety of areas -- from culture to food to hobbies to entertainment. We hope that this new feature will inspire members to communicate with even more of their matches.

Since it has been added to the profile, completing the Something to Talk About section is also part of the profile completion percentage. To complete this section you will need to either provide answers or opt out of a certain category.

If you access your profile, you will now find a Something to Talk About sub-tab between “Basics” and “In My Own Words.”

If you would like to join the discussion regarding this new feature, click here: http://advice.eharmony.com/boards/da...alk-about.html (NEW Profile Feature: Something to Talk About)

All the best,

-Renee

Thanks Renee, but I'm still a bit confused! You said it was for the US and Canadian users, however I'm using eHarmony UK. Will it be slowly making it's way over here as well? I can't see the section (which isn't surprising, since it seems a lot of people can't yet), but if it's not coming to the UK, I don't understand how that could affect my percentage!

Jessica888,

My sincere apologies! You did mention that you are a UK user; so the information I provided regarding this new feature would not affect your completion percentage.

To figure out what is going on with your profile completion percentage, the best thing to do is have a Customer Care agent review your profile. You can contact Customer Care from the Help link located at the bottom of all our Singles site pages or by clicking here: eHarmony Support Home Page

While I haven't heard about plans to make this feature available for our UK users, when it is, we will be sure to let you know!

Again, so sorry for the confustion.

Hi Jessica888,

You may have already been informed of this by Customer Care, but I just found out that there's a bug in our system right now affecting the completion percentage and that is why your percentage changed.

Our Tech team is working on it, and we hope to have it resolved soon.

All the best,

Renee I am thinking that there is a bug in the completion percentages for US users as well. When the "talk about" section became active I went to 82%, I completed most of that section and went to 87%. Now I am at 85% though I have not changed anything.

Question 13 has just been deleted in Australia. This resulted in a 79 % complete status bar, here. I e-mailed the company through the help menu to identify the reason.
This may provide some explanation, if the same has happened in the Old Dart.

Hi Gr8Guyn2008,

Yes, at this time, the bug is affecting all our sites, including eHarmony.Australia.

I informed members that the bug was affecting our US and Canada sites on the Something to Talk About thread but should have reiterated it here to cover all bases.

All the best,
