Not Receing Matches, Communication, Nothing!

I was out of the dating scene for a while so I never did log into EH for a few months. However, upon seeing the FCW, I figured I would get action this weekend as I usually do.

When I logged into EH last night, I had over 80 new matches and a request for communication and one match communication from last NOVEMBER!

I never got any emails about any of these!!!! HUH??

I sent out some feelers last night and sure enough, no emails today but when I log in, there are responses to my questions!

So I went to the EH help page to find that phone number I used to call for technical help, it is gone too! You now have to email them and wait up to 24 hours for a response that maybe I won't get because emails from EH are obviously not going through!!!

Anyone else experiencing this??

I did write though and asked that it be resolved and myself compensated!

Did you actually have e-mails turned on in your eH settings? If so, did you check your SPAM folder? If there are any there, just move them to the inbox and approve the sender.

I've had this problem recently, my ISP's SPAM blocker blocked all eHarmony messages. Since I log in regularly I was able to catch any matches/communication I had received. I was concerned about not getting the e-mails for them, and the first place I went to was the SPAM folder, and the messages were there for me.

I always check emails in my Junk mail folder because I have online businesses that mail gets directed to Junk all the time, so I would have noticed it as there is usually only about 10 Junk Mails at any one time in there.

BTW, I did get notification of your reply though! *shrugs*

Still no replies from EH and no email from their 24/7 customer service!

On a good note, I am in open communication with two females right now. Thanks to me logging in constantly and checking, not due to emails being sent to me. We have switched to regular emails so we don't miss any, and they are non paying members anyways!

Just bumping this so maybe one of the Advice Mods will see this and help me out too!

I agree that it's likely your email provider blocking or misdirecting the emails from eharmony, because eharmony definitely sends them. Also, is there a setting in your profile to turn the emails on/off?

I'm not sure why you're waiting for customer service, since they will tell you what I just did.

I have to add- if you didn't care enough to log into eharmony for a year, why are you so upset at not getting the emails? I certainly would not assume I had no new matches or communication in that amount of time, just because I didn't see any emails.

I did get a reply from CS this afternoon and it did tell me to do all those things.

The thing is, I have done all I can do. Now here is a weird thing. I have another email account that when people send mail there, it gets copied to my account that is the one I use on EH. I changed my email on there and got my match to send me something, Guess what? I got notification within seconds!

So I changed it back to the original and got her to write again. NOTHING!

So I phoned them and explained it to the lady, and she can't figure it out except to say that some people may experience one to two day delays in getting emails due to the high volume and that the FCW has been extended to Tuesdsay.

They did extend my membership by two weeks too.

But if I got them I would hav logged in long ago!

OK, newbie question about the highlighted part... Do the weekends getting extended happen often?

That is the first time that I have heard of it, I told the women they should advertise it since it even says on their site until Sunday, she agreed.

Yes, they do it once and awhile.

A couple of FCWs ago, they extended it out to be a full week, even without any real system-wide issues like they are having now...

I figured they were probably going to have to extend this one, as its really been pretty bad...
Emails sent 8+ hours delayed, Photo server failing once and awhile, etc.

OK, I was just curious... Not that it really even applies to me, being a paying member and all....
