OK here's the situation:
Say you've been communicating with someone. You get to open communication and the person wants a pic. You do too. You exchange emails. You didn't send yours immediately as you were busy. Hey, there are other things going on in life. Guy sends you can email saying, "Hey, did you send something because I didn't get an email with your picture.." You reply back that you will- give you time, but he has your email and can send you one in the meantime.

So, a day later, you are busy, you haven't sent the email. And neither has he. So, you say to yourself that he is waiting for you to send your pic so he can do the selecting- which doesn't seem fair. A week goes by and no picture. You don't send yours because you feel if he's sincere he could send you one in the meantime.

Get the picture? No pun intended here...or maybe...

So, in the meantime, no picture has been exchanged from either party and no further communication has ensued.

Maybe this is a lesson in communication skills.....

Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you local to each other?

Why not meet? Unless you are paying, he is taking all the risk.

Yes, he is local. How is he taking all the risks? At this point it seems like the communication impasse can only be resolved with a picture.

Why not just meet?

Then you can see what each other look like?

And other good stuff like how he speaks.

I'd think a guy was embarassed how he looked if he wouldn't send a pic... that would turn me off more...

why not just send a pic and be done with it?

Nope. I had my picture posted and closed out all the fat chicks that wouldn't post theirs.

No time for kiddie games.

Back at ya...right? He is sitting in his corner thinking the same thing.

Just send the picture, already. What have you got to lose?
