If what the match says in his/her profile, although you find them attractive enough, is not quite what you're looking for - but no dealbreakers - how long do you on average wait to answer the first questions in GC after viewing?

I have matches who view and wait and view and wait again and I can't believe they're all non-payers or concentrating on another match.

Maybe that other person is trying to decide if you have enogh in your profile to put forth the effort to answer those questions.

Or maybe that other person is trying to figure out why in the world you sent those questions to "them"!

Or maybe that other person is lacking in reading comprehension!

Or maybe that other person is scared to answer those questions and actually engage in any actual form of communication, even though that is in theory why they are on a dating site!

Or......

I answer the questions as soon as I am logged in and get them done. That does not always get the same consideration in return.

immediately upon viewing. If the first few answers are 180 of what im looking for ill close it, but if its still in the 'close enough' range ill keep going

I answer First Questions as soon as I read them. I have never closed a match yet because of something they have put in their answers to any of my questions or MHCS. If my match is communicating then I will go all the way to Open Communication. I have closed a couple as soon as we got to OC because they were putting just way too many wrong answers in everything leading up to that point, but that is a rare occurrence.

I can relate to your frustration as I have a lot of matches that will continually view my profile and yet not respond. Eventually they will get closed out for the reason of not responding. I do the folder cleanup after a FCW.

Yes indeed! I just had a match close me on First Questions for the reason Not Ready to Take the Next Step.

I answer the questions the same day they are sent to me. I have some guys in my communicating folder who have yet to answer my set of questions after a week. Either they are nonpaying people or just not into me - but why don't they close me out? Why leave me hanging? Can nonpaying people close you out?

When I was a member...I tried to answer any questions ASAP or close them out. If I don't get things going, some other guy will.
