I somehow now get flexible matches sent to my on a daily basis. How do I close that option? They don't seem to be good matches for me....live too far away, big age differences.

Hello, I had a similar issue before I found out how I could change my preferences/settings. You just need to set your preferences to higher importance levels. This is done by going to "my settings" and then putting the importance at a higher # on the different scales. You can change the importance factor on age, distance, smoking, drinking, etc. so you get better-matched candidates. I had mine set high at first, but the downside is.. that if you are too picky... there will be very few matches. I kept going back and toying with different preferences to see how it affected my daily match #s. I hope this helps, and good luck.

D.

I would like eH to indicate what factors made the match a "flexible" one. I'm more flexible on some things than on others.

I completely agree with this! I don't understand why eHarmony doesn't disclose why a certain match is a "flexible" match.

I, too, would like to know what setting caused the "flexible" match. As I have spoken to eHarmony about this I can tell you why they don't tell you. They view this information as a privacy issue. I do have trouble understanding how this would invade someones privacy.

Let me go off on a bit of a tangent here since the OP question has been answered by DenBob.

When you get a Flexible match that is only flexible to your settings. You may not show up as being a Flexible match to the other person.
