OK, now I have been an EH member at a couple of different times for 3-4 months at a time and tried the free weekends in between. I now have 612 in my closed folder I have never ever had someone write to me. and less than 1% have responded to my request for communication.

I called the customer care and they couldn't find anything wrong with my 8 photos, my complete and detailed profile. We looked at the results from the 200 questions and they do describe me, so what is wrong with me?

How long do I cast my line into the lake when none of the fish are biting or even swimming by.

I am tired of this no communication silence dome.

This or something similar has happened to just about everyone on eH. Of course GC and OC doesn't mean much if it doesn't lead to at least one date.

I was on eH for a year with nothing happening except for a long poential video LDR which never led to a meeting. Then at the beginning of September I got into GC with a flurry of matches!

The previous two weekends I had my first two dates with two different eH matches - after over a year. Those two dates gave me hope for the future with eH.

You seem to be a really attractive woman - I tried increasing the size of your photo. lol Hang in there for a while; good things will be coming your way. Are you in Canada, by the way? [So was my LDR]

It could be that you aren't doing anything wrong. I suspect your response ratio isn't that different from a lot of others on the site. I know I have had only two people ever request communication with me and about 5% who have responded to my requests. It's also a question of luck because had I found 'the one' amongst those 5%, ratios would have been meaningless, I certainly would have had a very different opinion about eH and I'd probably be posting on the success story section of these boards instead of on here!

Arizona, hmmm. I do have a mostly non-refundable plane ticket I bought to meet my LDR in Milwaukee which I never got to use; it's good until the middle of May to wherever the airline flies. You never know.

Sorry you’re not getting anything yet. It’s so tough in that place to keep believing that it could change. This may seem hard to believe, but the lack of communication may not just be in spite of your great profile, but because of it.

From what you described, it sounds like you have 8 varied photos and you have written a profile that stands out with specific details about yourself, and you’ve checked in with the Customer Care team for review. Sometimes when people have very good profiles and they are highly developed individuals, it does take longer because your profile may appeal to a more specific “audience” as well. Actually, eHarmony’s approach isn’t supposed to be that you appeal to the masses of matches out there, but to ultimately find one that’s very right for you.

I really enjoyed Pussinboot’s story too – it does seem like with some people there is a mysterious “click” somewhere along the line. I hope it happens for you – soon!

I would have to say that you are having a lot less luck than is the normal situation.

Without knowing more about you I really can't offer any real suggestions. But I am wondering if there is something about where you live that is causing a problem or if there is something in your profile that is the cause.
