I am just curious to see if anyone has encountered a fake profile on eHarmony or one that they thought might have been fake. I understand we all have to be smart, be careful to not give too much information about yourself away and to meet up at a safe location. I am just curious.

Coming from a former eH subscriber, I presumed all eH profiles are "real," though the member may be inactive.

I don't think she's an active subscriber.

I have seen, just recently a profile that seems a little "too perfect" along with 2 model style pics. I know that there are so many different types of people out there, which is good. It just struck me funny.

I didn't think that the scammers would take the time to fill our all the eH profile stuff. I did come across a member who encountered a fake profile/scammers

read the post's by organizedmayhem in the thread below.

Seriously EH, is *this* what I'm paying you for??

Most of the profiles that seem fake are probably just non-paying/inactive/ or lazy people

This sounds like it could be a s camme r. I will disagree with the Capt in that I suspect that they would take the time to fill in all the sections. Some signs are the model like photos. While the profile may appear to good to be true, check for spelling errors and grammatical errors.

Since you are not talking about non-paying members then we would have s camme r profiles that could be considered fake. I have never encountered any fake profiles but other girls on here have received s camme r profiles.

A year or more back there was a lot of posts on here about people receiving profiles that appeared to be eHarmony generated "test" profiles.

Anytime you receive a profile that you suspect is not "right" for whatever reason you should report this to eHarmony customer support.
