I just thought they watched their own ads a bit closer, or at least remembered the last one. Has anyone noticed the infamous couple on 80% of the recent ads, the one with the girl who opened her own business of black sealed garment bags and beaded jewelry?

Ok, here's the glaring contradiction. In commercial 1 she says "When you own your own business it's hard to find time for anything else." You see her walking in her store to said garment bags.

In commercial 2 the guy says "Opening the store together was..., etc". Same shot of girl in store. So did they open the store together, if so why was she so busy before? Lol. Anyway, yes I have a life, and yes I do have better better things to do than post of these sorts of things, to answer any following Q's along these lines. I just thought it was pretty funny how two ads with the same people told two entirely different stories. Pay better attention to your own campaign boys and girls!

Hi advicetoharmony,

Glad to hear you're paying such close attention to our TV ads!

When TanyaLee mentions the business that was keeping her so busy, she was referring to the clothing and wardrobe stylist business she had when she first joined eHarmony. The boutique she now runs was opened after she met Joshua, and they did, indeed, create it together.

Most likely you felt that the TV ads were contradictory because she was shown in her boutique around the time she was mentioning her busy business, and I'm sorry that it caused some confusion.

I encourage you to read their story and, if you like, view the 3 commercials featuring TanyaLee and Joshua by clicking on the following link:

All the best,

Yep, there does seem to be a good bit of continuity issues in commercials as they are typically about delivering a message than accuracy of the product. Some of my favorite ones are Home Alarm System Commercials.

If you're interested you can Google Continuity in Movies, Film and TV Shows. Its kind of interesting what people can pick up on and what editors miss.

It would seem that advicetoharmony and BuzWeaver must have a lot of time to waste watching commercials.

It's not wasting time, we're "connecting"!

Movie-
Speed, Keanu's partner gets shot in the leg, next scene getting a medal and he's limping on the wrong one...that stuff drives me crazy.
