I was wondering what the typical time frame is for responses. I joined last weekend and started communicating with this girl. I sent her my 5 questions and from thier within the next day we were up to her sending me her 2nd set of questions. Its been about a week since i have gotten a response back. I know people go on vacation, work, etc just a little surprised becuase we went through the communication levels pretty fast.

If it has been more than a week, she has lost interest. Go ahead and closer her out.

Maybe you were not the only one she was exchanging questions with. And some of the other answers beat yours.

I have sent my questions to several people and don't get a response or the courtesy of closing even. Something has got to be wrong here.

You'll quickly learn that there are a number of flakes that just vanish into thin air for no apparent reason.

There are basically three things you can do:

You can try a nudge after a week.

You can keep them open and move on and see if they ever contact you again.

You can close them.

Most, about 90%, of your matches are going to be non-paying members who can't respond. Most non-paying members are also non-active meaning they will never view you or close you.

It costs nothing to leave a match open for a long time. You just never know.

I am hesitant to close people out because you never know. I have had matches close me after 2 weeks. I just like to give it about 2 weeks, or at least after I "nudge" them to see if they will respond.

Just to clarify – and sorry Gr8guyn2008, but I have to set the record straight – it’s again not the case that you can assume 90% of your matches are not paying.
All the best,
