Upgrade to Firefox. Download ad blocker.

I just did that, and the eha site loads quickly, doesn't blink me to death, and I don't have to hold my hand up to the blink-blinkies so I can read a post.

I know, I'm behind the times.

But for you others not on with it, upgrade to Firefox, and download ad blocker. It's a miracle drug, right up there with Vi.agra, only more useful.

I just did this too and can't believe the difference! The only disappointment is that everyone always says you don't have to see all the stupid ads w/ firefox/adblocker, and I still see them. Some I can right-click on and I get the option to make them go away, others I don't get the option.

I downloaded the US version of the ad blocker.

WIP, if you check your Firefox options, it'll ask you for specific filters. There are some canned filters out there for different countries, and I believe you can add your own filters. Backmail me if you can't figure it out.

Welcome to the 90s! We're so far behind the curve... glad I'm not the only knucklehead.

Yep, Firefox is very nice to use compared to IE. Recently I've started using Chrome (Google's browser) as well, which I've found to be even faster and more stable than Firefox. The one big catch though is that it doesn't yet support extensions, so no ad blocking plug-ins at the moment.

Firefox is awesome. I loaded the Adblocker last week.

I can't believe how quickly pages load now, particularly this site. No more smarmy sulky guys and the perky-but-sensitive gals looking longingly at them and clueless about how to "make the guy fall in love with you" or find out "why he doesn't call."

Heaven!

Got Adblocker Plus installed and setup now and things are way faster. Thanks for the clue.

WIP, pps on this, use Tools - Add Ons - Ad Blocker Plus Options - Filters - Add Filter Subscription.

I didn't make that clear before, but after you download Firefox, and Ad Blocker, set the options as above, and you'll find success.

Haven't tried Netscape's Chrome. I used to use Netscape exclusively, until they went to Netscape 6. 6 was just a cut-out of IE, and it turned me off to them. Maybe they got that old religion back.

Chrome isn't a product of Netscape...it's a browser developed by Google.
