What happened to the "meet your new match" emails? They used to give insightful information - is adventurous, cares about the physical shape they are in, number of photos - but this morning they give only the name and location. A lot less useful, thumbs down.

I no longer receive notices from matches via e-mail for last 2 weeks. I tried e-mailing customer service but I was sent a generic reply about checking my spam box. Every thing was fine 2 weeks ago. I guess I should try calling a live representative.

I actually like the new ones better. The old ones were kind of lame - a bunch of stock information about matches that served no informative purpose other than the location and whether or not there'd be photos. (I think every match I got had "I enjoy a good joke" on their list of characteristics.)

Regardless of whether or not some people found the information in the old emails useful, we can all see that the new emails don't try to tell us as much about the match, which is not cool.

Maybe they're trying to keep people from closing as quickly on matches. For example, I wouldn't automatically close, but would be a lot less interested in a match if the email didn't mention physical fitness.

I just received an e-mail from customer service saying that e-mail notices have been temporarily removed while upgrades to whole system are being completed.

Really? I'm still receiving notifications. Hmmm...

I personally just ignore the new match emails. The only purpose they serve is to alert me that there's a new match waiting on my eH page. I delete them without even reading them most mornings and then log into eH and view the pictures and profile of the matches there. Personally, I feel like they might as well not even send them, since there's nothing in there that's useful.

Another change that really didn't need to happen.

I'd rather see other improvements instead of this.
