Hi everyone
I am a single 20 year old guy who is looking for a cute girl to date but I am not sure if eharmony is for me.

I do want to date but I am not thinking about marriage yet (obviously) nor getting engaged. Is e-harmony still for me?

3 years makes a difference?

where am i supposed to date then...seriously i dont want to go to match.com where the women are not classy whatsoever and are only looking for a 1 time sexual fling. std precautions and my own dating goals = me not doing that. and i definitely wont be on adult friend finder!

In my experience eHarmony is focused more on people looking for a serious relationship. It's not about casual dating or playing the field.

My advice is take some time to look around locally, and on cheap/free sites that cater to young people looking for casual dates.
Then when you decide you know what you want and are ready to settle down, if you haven't found her yet, then give eHarmony a try.

its not like im looking for a one night stand i do want a girlfriend....the thing is you never know if you're going to stay with a girl for a month or a year just based on a couple dates in person off eharmony....to say 'because i am on eharmony if i like a woman i meet i will consider marrying her' after knowing her for 1 month is absurd. same for saying 'i will be with this woman for years to come'.....after 2 weeks of dating.

ive tried some other sites, the women sucked. either not physically attractive, classy, not my type, too slutty/forward, ect.

so how is eharmony that different considering that?

I posted a nice long reply with explanations, and it is being moderated. If it doesn't show up you can message me and I'll give you the details directly.
Hopefully my post will show up soon...

I find that the people on eharmony are of better quality than those on most other sites....so is eharmony still good for me?

You may be a little shocked to find people here are more serious about meeting that special one and not just a date per se.

How do you know what the women are like on match? You can't base an entire community on a handful of flukes that you've met. If you did all dating sites would go broke. Plus, it's not fair to the good women that are on there.

Well I have signed up (free) and there are 21-23 year old women on the site. Women whom I would consider dating. I dont just want 'a date'....but you cant look at a pixel and talk on the phone and say OK I AM GOING TO END UP WITH THIS GIRL FOR YEARS TO COME before going on some dates.....

People also dont get married after knowing each other for 3 months. If they do, they dont know their partner enough to know that they're 'the special one'.

I know what I like in a woman. You are not that. You look like the women I see while browsing match. Is that why you are defending match?

Not many sites on the net will have as beautiful/classy women as i'd meet in person.
