What is this "Message is too short" stuff about when posting on the boards?

I've never gotten this message, but that's because my posts are always the perfect length! Of course, some posts are really, really, really long. But the extremely short ones are confusing. You feel like you are only hearing one side of a personal conversation
PS: I hope you didn't mean some other kind of short, like height, etc.

When I saw this topic, I thought it was going to be a height thread.

Speaking of message board issues, what happened to the thread title being displayed in the title section on the browser. Instead of the name of the thread, all I get now is "Dating advice message board" for every thread I open.

I usually open multiple threads and it would be really hard to keep track of what was what if it wasn't for the thread title also being in the URL.

If you are starting a new thread then it is usually necessary to have just a bit of information so that we can provide some sort of proper answer. However, when responding to a thread frequently the only required answer is a simple yes or no or something equally as short. It seems that now short answers are no longer allowed. Every answer must be more than at least 6 characters. I don't know what the minimum is but a 6 character answer to a post was rejected.

I don't usually have multiple threads open and had not noticed this but I do see what you mean and that it is a problem.

BTW I already know that I am too short height wise for most girls. Height was discussed at great length in a thread that I started about a year or maybe more ago.

I disagree!

I think posts that say the same thing are clutter... The ones that say +1 add to the count of a particular viewpoint without adding clutter!

So there! ...now somebody +1 me!

Yes, this is yet another case of fixing something that wasn't a problem to create a problem.

So now:
We must be verbose rather than concise
We can no longer multi-task easily with multiple tabs because we can't
easily locate the specific topics anymore
Our status lines are now HUGE! (the better to see you my dear)

And... we still don't have location listed next to our avatar.

It has to be at least 10 characters now. I'm surprised I ever came across that little message because it's not like my posts are ever short.
