Hi all,

OK, I have finally worked up the nerve... Would people care to review my profile, please? I loved what you did for Travelchic and in general all the advice I read on this forum, so I'm looking forward to your e-pinions!

Here it goes, and thanks in advance!

Me

P.S.: I can attach all my profile pix (the one seen here is my main photo) if people want me to!

************************************************** ***

First Name: Natalia Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States Occupation: Environment, Health and Safety EngineerHeight: 5 ft. 3 in. OR 160 cm. Age: 36 Ethnicity: White, non-Hispanic
1. What are you most passionate about?
Helping make the planet a better place by improving the way we relate to its resources and to each other. And yoga, because it's changing the way I see myself and the world.
2. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
  • My family and friends
  • The ability to love and be loved
  • My education and career (OK, that's six things -- it's just because I'm a deeply grateful person!)
3. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My brother and sister; we're made of the same stuff so they get me like nobody else on the planet.
4. The four things your friends say about you are:
  • Happy
  • Good Listener
  • Optimistic
  • Funny
5. What are three of your BEST life-skills?
  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Finding creative solutions to everyday problems
  • Maintaining a network of close friends
6. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Honesty and a good sense of humor. I'd love to meet someone who is willing to teach me and learn from me; someone who understands the value of patience.
7. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
That I smile a lot and I love conversation.
9. How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I love to spend time with family and friends, practicing yoga, watching movies (I heart Netflix), reading and traveling, which always gives me a chance to practice my photography skills.
10. What are five things that you "can't live without?"
  • Love
  • My family and friends
  • A computer with an internet connection
  • Intellectual stimulation
  • My passport
11. Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
Right now I'm reading "La Horde du Contrevent", a science fiction novel by a French author. Pretty interesting writing. The pages are numbered backward and the narration is done by each of the 20+ characters, identified by a symbol. I'll let you know how it turns out.
12. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know.
That I put my pants on one leg at a time
13. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived most of my life there. My family and I lived in Puerto Rico for three years when I was young (11). I also spent a few months again in Puerto Rico (2004-2005) and France (2007-2008) for work. I have been a citizen of Red Sox Nation since August 2001 and love it!

This is the only area I would question. I'm not sure what you want us to learn from each other? Will I need alot of patience to deal with you?

Other than that, everything is good! Your humor comes through loud & clear.

Good luck.

Hmm... good point! I guess we'd learn anything and everything. I'm naturally curious and I like to learn all sorts of stuff, so I'd like to find a match who is equally inquisitive about life. How else can I express this?

The patience thing it's because it's one of my "virtues" if you will and I think it's a great skill to have. I can take it out, it's not like I'm married to it!

Thanks for your feedback!

How about that? Now it's more about your natural curiosity and interest and less about lectures I don't want to listen to.

#3 - say something more specific about your sister and brother - in what way were they influential?

Hmm... food for thought! Well, the fact that I *can* talk to them about anything is pretty influential in itself. But I guess growing up as the eldest and feeling how much they look up to me made me develop a sense of responsibility. I made better choices than I would have otherwise, because I knew they were watching.

Thanks for making me think about this!!

Agree with what the others said for suggestions! And share in IceCreamMoons sentiments even if I do not agree with the moon being made out of ice cream.

The only thing I did notice is where did question 8 go? As a fellow engineer logic says that there has to be something between 7 and 9
