This morning I received the latest survey from eH about if I wanted to get help from couples who've found their match on eH.

I really don't think "either" of these couples would be willing to tell me why I am not getting too many new matches and the ones I am getting are for the most part not paying subscribers. Right now I could not be getting too many fewer matches if I had never joined eH. lol

Maybe you get no matches because no one lives in Connecticut? If you live within a large city search area and are getting no matches then I would contact eHarmony support to find out why.

I do not currently subscribe to eH.
It has always intigued me, I subscribed for a short while, but it never worked for me - maybe I'm just too much of a control freak, but I was never interested in any of the matches they sent me, not even in the slightest... The most interesting matches I've had were from Match, and just as weird

My online dating research career started as a dare from an ex co-worker, just over a year ago. It was a joke really, then I got interested in the process, more from the "scientific" than romantic perspective. I never believed that I could meet my true partner by viewing photos, statistics, or reading text talk. But I was curious for a while. well, it's pretty much all over - I've tried a few sites, created around 20 different profiles, similar but not the same, experimented with different methodology, achieved very similar results from all - people never got past statistics and words. I got a lot of winks and communication requests, but none of them spoke my language or my humor, none of them touched me, excited me, inspired me or increased my heartbeat even in the slightest... just not for me, I guess, athough I have no doubt it can work for other people.

I'm an avid poster here though, as you may have noticed . And the only kind of "expert" advice this control freak is willing to take in the romance department is from couples, who have beaten the odds and managed to find each other and stay with each other, despite those improbable odds.

So yes, I received the survery and completed it. Hope it helps.
