I don't know but would expect that there might be one this coming weekend since it is a holiday and that is when they usually happen.

I kind of hope so. I can then clean out the dead wood.

I got an e-mail today saying Thursday July 2 through Sunday July 5 is a free communication weekend.

We will see what happens, last free communication weekend I made it to OC with a match, I emailed her a picture and she never wrote me back. Hopefully this time I have better luck.

I have had similar experience to yours but I have also gotten all the way to meeting a couple of FCW matches. Sometimes you will get some responses and sometimes you don't.

I can see why subscribing members of eHarmony would be concerned about getting matched with members who could drop out after the Free Communication Weekend is over. The Safety Tips’ information still applies here (http://www.eharmony.com/safety/tips):

“Watch out for someone who: wants to speed up the pace beyond your comfort level.”

Go at your own pace this coming weekend and don’t feel pushed or rushed. If a match is truly interested, they will be willing to do what it takes to continue getting to know you. If they don’t continue, then you probably are better that you only invested the amount of time and energy it took to go through a few communication stages to rule them out. And you never know, they could return at a later time.

Keep in mind that not everyone with whom you get matched or communicate with this weekend is necessarily a non-paying member. Also, sometimes in the middle of communicating, non-paying members choose to sign up. It’s always good, of course, to check in with your comfort level as you go forward.
