What's the deal with the "dater with a cause" message in my subheading? Does eHA think I'm James Dean? How does everyone else feel about the new format?

I think they are amusing. I like that the profile pics are displayed larger and I really like that the smiley face works now

I had trouble getting the smiley face to work last night. And people might have a hard time discerning seriousness from levity. I have since read up on the changes, and it's just a matter of getting use to the new format. It looks like it will allow for more options (and hopefully less technical glitches).

Besides, if eHA thought I was James Dean, I would be a "dater without a cause," a "dater with a cause" would be Gandhi. But I imagine a date might have fun with that bald head, if they had a bottle of oil (thinking of the classic Seinfeld episode).

I see that you're "a date to remember!" I'm sorry that you are not closer ( thousands of miles across the vast Pacific is a wee bit of a one-way commute).

I have the same thing, the negative connotations and implications are obvious and i think it's just someone's way of labeling you with what they can but probably not with what they would like to.

Ha ha! Apparently I am in the "Dating Zone" Sort of gives a Sci-fi /Twilight Zone connotation to it: "You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead — your next stop, the Dating Zone!"

Does that mean all my dates will be creapy or mysteriously dissapear? Hey! Maybe I AM in the Dating Zone!

i don't love it, but i'm not a post count watcher. *shrug

it's also a little weird if you are in a relationship. some boards allow you to change it or to not have one at all, which would probably be a good idea here.

Previously, the smiley faces wouldn't work for me at all. I'd click on the smiley box and a blank screen would open. They obviously went walkabout.

Oh, you mean the 'ditch' .... lol!
