I just googled "eharmony scam" and ran into a website but it contains complaints about ROMANCE SCAMMERS, which are on ALL dating sites. Check it out for yourself before you make any rash decisions. Personally, I like eharmony MUCH better than any other site I have used. Just as "Dr. Warren's Message" indicates, it is up to YOU to protect yourself against people out to scam you.

The site is http://www.bikermatchmaking.com/Inte...Complaints.htm

Heck no, eHarmony isn't a scam! It's just not tailored for impatient people with low attention spans. Know what I mean?....Hello?.... she's gone already.

eHarmony also probably attracts a lot more shy people and people who are not used to dating or online communication. They will naturally be more terrified to make that leap to Open Communication. Dr. Warren told you when you signed up that it could take months. If you want instant action go back to match. com or someplace else.

OK.. my question is.. IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE PROCESS??? or is this all a scam???

On another topic discussion board..we have been talking about how everytime we get to "stage 3" the person just stops responding!!! hmmmm coincidence.. I am not sure...it seems likemany many members are experiencing'no rseponse' when they get to stage 3 in the process.. Hmm this created a huge question for me.. the question is... is this a scam!!!! I mean seriously how could this be.. are you telling me that people are intersted and all of a sudden they are not and this interest only declines at stage 3???

Ok here me out...what if eHarmony hasthe system set upwhere they are set up to appear as though they have people for us..- who come into our matches..but really they don't and the system is automated to send you people up to level 3 so we get encouraged that maybe we have achance of meeting our perfect mate.. then they go MIA.. I find it really suspicious that A LOT of people - more than is comfortable to be just a case of no longer interseted... are experiencing this.. don't you think???

I have used many dating sites and have had LOTS AND LOTS of hits and long term correspondence outside of controlled questions... and to be honest why would controlled questions make people NOT want to continue.. unless they system is set up to stop at that point!!.. on the other sites..they have not worked out but...at least I was able to make that decision myself.. I am begining to believe now its more of an automated compute process! I really am..

I am now convinced this is a scam set up in the EH computer system!!!!

So...any thoughts anyone.. could it be possible that EH are playing us to get our money????????? when in actual fact these people do not really exist at all....???

I have suspected the same sort of thing. For example I recently found out that a number ( actually a LOT) of the guys they sent to me weren't even active members & couldn't communicate unless they joined. I even wrote to Dr. Warren about this because I felt it was a fraudulent practice.Paying customers should have a right to know whether or not someone sent to them is an active member.Customer relations claimed that Dr.W forwarded the letter to them & they sent me a condesendingemail that really didn't really explain why they do this & feel it's legitimate. I would think that if Dr W. really cared about his company & its practices he would have cared enough to at least have his assistant write a real explanation & sign his name to it. Ironically, I read his book prior to trying eharmony & in it he talks about trust being hard to re-establish once it's lost. Well, Dr. W. you've lost mine.
I have also thought that a large number of the profiles they sent me sounded similiar with an unbelievable number of guys talking about "taking time to smell roses" & I began to suspect I was being sent letters that were dummied up by somebody in the eharmony group! I really think this organization needs to be reportedto an independent monitoring companyor law agency so they can be checked out for fraudulent practices. I feel that the money I spent on the service was wasted. If anybody who is more computer saavy than me knows who to complain to please let me know. This really should be investigated.
