This is strange. I had deleted my profile pic a bit ago. I downloaded a profile pic on another site and was notified by yahoo that I had a message here so I came to check it out. Now low and behold the pic I downloaded on the other site had appeared as my profile pic here even though I have not been here in over a week nor have gone through the motions to put up a new pic. How is this possible or are EH and the other site run by the same people?

Here as in eHa? or eH? Not that it really matters either way, I'm just curious.

I'm not sure how this is possible?? And even if eH and the other site are run by the same people, that kind of thing shouldn't be allowed (or ABLE) to happen. That's just not cool.

And if you never received, or checked that message, your pic might be up on a site and you didn't want it there AND have no knowledge of.

Wow, not cool. I would call them up and see if they have some kind of explanation for that. Just one more reason why I sometimes regret ever puttinga pic up online in the first place.

Let us know if you ever figure this one out, will you?

You may want to check the other site for profile transfers. This would be the second profile picture in less than a week.

It could be related to not deleting cookies on your computer. I had something very similar happen to me on a different dating site. I had to delete every photo on both sites, delete all cookies and then start over. That fixed it.

Funny thing is that it was a brand new pic that had not been on my computer before until I downloaded on the other site so no cookies existed previously. Mac, the first one I did put up and then deleted. But I had not been here since to put up a new pic so it must have been magic.

Are the file names of the pictures the same ? That might possibly produce the same result as the browser will think that it already has the picture (actually the file) . It is more than cookies ... Delete all browser related files, there are options for that for each browser.

You may want to post a new profile on the other site and see if it shows up on this site. if it does then Eha and the other site are related.

Altair you have no photo here on the Advice profile. However if you still see it or did see it in threads after you removed it the photo may have been getting displayed from your browser cache.

I also would have to ask if you are sure that you actually deleted your photo or if you just thought you had.
