Hi there...I was just wondering if someone could answer what I do if a post is being "modded"...do I resend? or just wait?...I don't have any foul language or anything in there that is different from my other posts so have no clue????


It seems as if the post has gone off into cyber space, never to return...

Well, that depends on what you posted. Most of what I post that gets modded just gets caught by the automatic word filter, and as soon as someone with a pulse reads it, it gets posted. Usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. If, however, what you posted breaks the rules in spirit as well, it will never be posted.

Ok..thanks for the response...again..I looked it over and I don't have anything in there that is against the "rules" on here...so who knows...but maybe because it was longer than a lot of my other posts....again..thanks for your thoughts

Ingy, sometimes these mods are very random. They are especially frustrating after you've composed a long and thoughtful post.


When I type long posts, I often copy them just in case that happens. If it does indeed get modded, I go back and scan for any "questionable" words that may have caused the mod. But I've often edited posts two and three times and still been modded. So you're not alone

Hi ingy, I have been modded (so far) ONLY when I have used the "reply to this comment" function. I usually copy and paste using 'submitt comment' then I check periodically, and if/when the 'modded' post is approved, I delete it.
