I'm not sure it was wise for me to register, but I was at a point where it seemed to be the best option. I suppose that I am taking a chance that no matter how it is set up, at least the possibility of a great match is there. I'd rather look through 20 profiles per week that are all excellent, versus 300 on a free site (like P.O.F.) and perhaps find 3 good ones. The pay site gives me the 'illusion' that because we're paying people we'll have a greater chance at responding - but EH throws that away when all my matches are non paying members!!! With the free site, there is no pressure or obligation to reply (neither is here, but rather more likely ).


So far one week and NOTHING!!! This is hard earned cash I'm throwing out the door because I'm 27 and have NO experience with women.


If nothing comes out of it 3 months and bye-bye.

Relax! It's only been one week. You can't make a judgment based on that alone.


Personally, I stared trying online dating because both my college and line of work don't involve many women. Still, I use online dating only as a supplement to my everyday activities. That means I get involved in the community by volunteering, and taking cooking classes.


So, take it easy, be patient, and be sure to put yourself out there! A woman can't fall for a man whose existence she doesn't even know of. Best of luck to you.


P.S. -- try OKCupid, if you haven't already. It's another free choice for you.
