I'm going to guess that you've pretty much always been in a relationship and that 6 months is the longest you've been single since your first boyfriend. I know that at 18-19, 6months seems like a long time, but in all reality, it isn't.

I would advise that you take some more time to get to know, find and love yourself as a single person. Trust me, you can still go through a lot of changes yet and are still finding yourself. When I was 19, I was not a binge drinker or pot smoker either. I too, was "absolutely sure" of what I wanted to do, and had my life figured out and knew what I needed to know,

But I found out that wasn't true and went through big changes in my life and discovered talents and passions that I didn't know that I had. I was not in a relationship then. When I graduated from college, I was not in a relationship, which gave me the freedom to move half-way across the country.

I'm not saying it's wrong for you to be here, but is it really right for you to be here?
I agree with this. This really is a good time for you to be single. Don't rush things. What are your personal goals outside of a relationship? Think of all the time you have now to do things you might not be able to do later in life when you are working or have children. This a great time for goal setting and really getting to know who you are on your own. You say you live in a sorority....maybe its a good time to see how you fare, really more on your own. Travel to new places alone, maybe get an apartment alone one summer. Start small. You seem like a great girl, and you will only get better with time, if you know how to protect yourself from the bad that is out there, and how to spring back when the bad inevitably finds it's way into your life. You are a pretty girl, and young and I agree that older men on eharmony MIGHT not neccessarily be the ones you want to meet. Its possible....but....my gut is telling me this is such a great time for you to be single....if you really want to try internet dating though, I think eharmony is the best choice....be careful with your age range though. If I were you, I would not go over 24 or 25. And think of it as.....research. Not every guy is going to work out for you. But it could be good dating experience to see what is out there and how people are going to react to you and treat you, and find out more about yourself too.

Best of luck. Dont rush!
