What do you do when a person admits they look fat in their profile picture, but then adds, people are surprised when they meetme, they are actually not fat, but fit? I have heard that TV adds ten pounds, but pictures? I do not mean to sound shallow, but has anyone else ran into this?

I've never experienced that before. It's usually the opposite; people's pics look mysteriously 30 lbs lighter and 6 years younger.

Well I don't like taking pix of myself so I am sure every one will look like I'mHUGE XD

But really, if anyone has some sort of content to them, if they like the person's personality they shouild meet in person instead of basing it on a posted pic.

You could ask them to take a pic with a measuring tape around their waist with the numbers easily readable :P

Not really. Usually when people say in their profiles that they're fat, they are actually fat.

You've got to give them credit for being honest.

Hi zuzu bear, I do not think you look fat in your profile picture but you do seem rather hairy. But at least you're of the non shedding variety.

To me, if someone 'admits' to looking fat in their pictures I'll think they're insecure about their weight.

The picture is old and I'm not fat, just fluffy!

You're right about the insecurity of others, but cudos to him for being honest!
