How do you like to communicate? Direct and Immediate? Slow and Easy? Our NEW Preferred Communication Feature lets everyone know your communication style.

I'd like to see a third option to 'Preferred Communication Type' - 'No Preference'. Some of us (such as myself) see benefits to both communication methods and are willing to use whichever method the other person prefers. I think the current either/or options probably discourage communication from matches that have the opposite flag setting.

For instance, someone with 'prefers guided communication' might see a match has chosen 'prefers FastTrack' and decide "that's too fast for me" and close the match, even though the other person was simply thinking "I'm open to both".

Can someone else please second this notion? And the more, the merrier.

Thanks,
Garrett

I agree also. Being open to both types of communication would be my choice.

I also concur that a third choice to be open to both types of communication should be made available. Hope to see it as an option very soon.

Good suggestion Garrett!
Once I'm past the beginning concerns in how eHarmony works out,
I do want to get out there and spread those wings a little.

I agree that it would really be good to have a choice of both forms of communication. If you did, I would most certainly pick it.

You are correct in my opinion - I also think that maybe being able to send a short "clean" message right away might cut cut down on alot of pre-programed banter questions-- still have the right to choose though...AW

Just put "WILLING TO FASTRACK" in the other information section of your profile. This gives third option if they read your profile! One of my matches did this, good idea.
