Just wondering if, when it's a free weekend, are you able to view your matches photos if you're a nonpaying member? I was a paying member for a few months but stopped in November as I wasn't having a ton of luck on here. I had turned the matching off but am thinking of turning it back on just to see what happens over the free weekend. Will paying members be able to see my photos? Can I see their photos? Will I be able to initiate communication or do I have to wait for them to contact me? I'm just not sure how the free weekend works since before I was a paying member. Any suggestions? Thanks.

From my experience with free weekends, you can't view any pics if you're a nonpaying member. If they are a paying member, they can see your pic.

You will not be able to see any pictures but if you get through the process, you can exchange email addresses and have him send you pics. You can even do this when you exchange your 2nd set of questions and you are able to write what you want.


You will be able to initiate communication.


I always put in my profile that I am only on for the free weekend and things need to move quickly!

At one time, I had my eH advice board name...actually had someone sign up on here and send me an email. I just signed up for another 3 months after 6+ months of not being active...did it in a moment of holiday blues desperation.

Atlanta Gal has pretty much answered all the questions but I will add that you can only use Guided Communication if you are a Free Weekender.


And from experience you can very easily get through GC in an hour if both people are interested in moving the communications forward. I have gone through GC and met a Free Weekender from the previous Free Weekend.

I have not been able to answer the first set of questions without signing up to pay money. How can I do this?
