It would force them to either close or move forward. I'm thinking about trying that approach. Your thoughts?

In my experience, it doesn't work. They just remain slow at responding to your e-mailsinstead of your eHarmony communications. Although I suppose it would depend on why they are slow more than anything else. Someone who is slow because they buy into all those mindgames about not showing too much interest might pick up speed because moving to Fast Track from GC would typically send a clear signal of your interest in them.
Or that prompt responses mean desperation. Sheesh!

I am reading between the lines here a bit, but two things come to mind.

1. Your matches may not be paying members and cannot respond. If they have not viewed you after you sent First Questions then they probably are not paying members.

2. Slow down, be patient and don't get your panties in a knot. These things take time.

I do assume from reading between the lines that you have sent First Questions and I do commend you for taking the initiative. So few of the girls will do that.

You mean you would actually like for women to initiate?

I did it and it worked. Also, I don't mind if they do the sameof me because sometimes I don't like the second round of questions. If I have to think about it too much I'd rather go to OC.

I think it's important to value what your potential match prefers. If they put a preference for Fasttrack on their profile, by all means go for it. But if they state a preference for guided communication and you request Fasttrack, it can be received the wrong way. It can be received like you haven't carefully read their profile, or you consider their preferred method a waste of time. It can make for a fatal first impression.

Remember, you can't force open the petals of a flower. Patience always pays off.

I'm with Tantalus, if they don't want to respond to the canned responses in GC, I doubt they will respond any faster to full e-mails of fasttrack with which they would have to think out answers.

Well, I'm here to tell you that I did it with six matches that I previously sent 1st questions to. Within 15 minutes, I got my first OC. So there!!! Na Na Na Na Na.

I think I'll give'em some time. And then give them a choice. Either s**t or get off the pot! Maybe from a woman this sounds more forceful. But I just happen to think a few emails back and forth will get to the heart of the situation sooner. Just me -- don't like sitting on my paperwork for too long!

Get r done!
