Everybody I have contacted has closed me. It's not looking like I will be renewing when my sub expires in December, as the bang for the buck simply is not there with eH, and I cannot afford to renew at this time.

I am moving in January anyways, so at least I will have a chance in an all-new 'market' on the free sites...

No luck either. I thought the people who come here are serious about dating but it seems the majority of them are here to just have fun and play games. Boooo...

Ok, have been on EH for about 6 weeks. One phone call, a few questions, about 55 guys even looked at my profile. Pretty quiet. Can not figure out why would these guys join and not even look at a profile. This is getting depressing. And yes I have sent smiles or questions, about 90 percent of the time I get nothing back. It must be brutal out in the dating world. And yes I am 52, am in great shape, have been told many times how nice looking I am, and easy to get along with. Oh well, I guess I just have to sit tight. Anyone else have the same bad luck?
Hi, I'm also 52. Be patient. I was on for over a year, off and on. I have a friend who was on for three years. She just got married to her EH guy. Mine is a new relationship, but a profound and wonderful one-and definitely worth waiting for. There are times when you'll be inundated with requests for communication and others when everything will seem like a dry spell. At one time I was "communicating" with five guys, another it was weeks between finding even one person worth communicating with. Sometimes I'd close matches, other times my matches would close me. I also found that around the holiday season, there are fewer people actively looking online. Don't give up yet! At 6 weeks, you're still a newbie!
