I've not been around the boards a lot with the past few months of wedding planning.

However my eharmony match (Michael) and I got married April 17th, 2010 in Kentucky. It was a small wedding just like we wanted of a few friends and family.

Like any wedding...not everything went smoothly. Flowers got smashed and overheated during shipping but bridesign.com was great to replace them the day before the wedding. I was so nervous for my vows on the rehearsal that I was looking at the floor and whispering them practically. Of course a lot of the stress and pressure from family of what to do contributed to that. The wedding coordinator required by the church didn't even have the church open until called the day of the wedding despite confirming the arrival time with her. Then there was the sound guy that didn't start the music until 20 minutes before the wedding. I'd asked it start 1 hour before(exact amount I made the cd for) because we took some pictures.

Photographer was so helpful and really looking forward to the pictures he took. I'll share some of them when I get them back.

Weather couldn't have turned out better. The week of the wedding was 80s and so hot. Day before a rain storm came through that cooled things off for a nice sunny day in the 60s.

My vows went smoothly day of the ceremony and I even made Michael a little nervous with the eye contact. Had a few relatives run out before pictures were done but the families enjoyed a dinner together to talk.

All in all a great day...and couldn't be happier with my husband. =)

Looking forward to the honeymoon cruise to alaska may 13th to 27th!

Now all I have to do is figure out how to get everything packed to move to pennsylvania...eek!

Congratulations! I'm so happy to hear that all went reasonably well for you and that you're happy (which is the most important thing). Enjoy your cruise and the beginning of your life together!

Congradulations my dearest friend. May all your dreams and wishes come true. I hope that we get to meet some day in person. Probably when I have all my stuff in Oregon and finally living there this summer. Say hello to Mike for us.

Love, hugs and kisses,

Congrats and best wishes!

Btw, I've heard that eHarmony sends a wedding gift from Tiffany's to those who meet and marry their match from the eHarmony site.
