I am posting this because I can't seem to find a location where I can post my success story with e-harmony. My fiance (whom I met on eharmony) and I are getting married in August and I wanted to say my deepest and sincerest thanks to the people at eharmony. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Mike and I have been dating for 2 months and already we can tell this is the real thing. I have felt this sure only one other time and we were together for 23 years when the Lord took him home. I want to thank you and God for the blessing of finding another soulmate that I know was sent to me in order to complete my life. You have a wonderful website and are very good at getting the information needed in order to match people. Again Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

Mel and I started talking on October 16,2008 and we have been talking and visiting ever since. The neat thing about this is he lives in New Jersey and I live in Houston,Texas. Distance makes no difference in this long distance relationship. If anything ,this distance has added greatly to the relationship. I had watched the commercials for e-harmony and I was truly a nay-sayer about the service, but needless to say now, I am a firm believer and an encourager for the use of the service. Now the only concern I have is where are the other African American couples? We have not seen any on TV and I know there has to more happy Blackcouples out there beside us. Again thanks e-harmony for a match made in Heaven. Charlene and Mel

Hi Charlene,

How wonderful that you and Mel were open to meeting someone not in your immediate areas. As you two know, when the RIGHT One comes along, distance isn't as problematic as most would think, and you are not the first to share that having a long distance relationship has "added greatly to the relationship." I remember another successful member who shared that, though she and her now husband were not able to be with each in person as often as they'd like, they took the time between visits to really got to know each other through phone calls, e-mails, and letters. In a shorter span than probably usual, they discussed very important issues and shared about themselves on a deep level, and these conversations led to their discovery that they were perfect for each other.

Regarding very happily matched African-American couples, if you have not done so already, please visit our Success Stories page, where you can read the stories of many African-American couples who have found the love of their life on eHarmony. Here is the link for that page:

http://www.eharmony.com/success

Also, please know that we strive to feature a variety of successful couples in these ads; however, our ability to show diversity is dependent, in part, on couples agreeing to be part of our commercials. Therefore, I hope that, when the time is right for you and Mel, that you will not only choose to share your story on our Success Stories page, but that you also share your interest in being on a TV commercial!!!!

Wishing you two all the best.
