John and I met on the EHarmony Advice boards about 5 months ago. One week on the boards, it was particularly slow and I just asked John if he wanted to go out or mope around about not having a date.


Although John is a little shorter than me (alright, a lot shorter), we had a great friendship from the start. We having been meeting regularly for the past five months two or three times per month for dinner. He buys, then I buy.


Well, last week, we missed our regular day because I was out of state. When I got back, we promptly scheduled our dinner for today (Monday) at an Italian place that I suggested.


Imagine my surprise when I checked my eHarmony matches today and guess who is there? We decided to take the guided communication approach (even though we know each other pretty well) because we were having fun with it. He even told me the "heat was on now". Pretty funny way to meet the best male friend I ever had. Thanks eH.

Oh, and I found out from reading John's profile that his favorite food is -- you guessed it -- Italian!

Nah, we know each other a little too well. He's knows I posted this and I'm not bashful about him reading it. Gotta love him because of how he is -- just a very sweet guy. C.
