I always hear that women like men who present a bit of a challenge, even in an established relationship.

Do people think that this is accurate or just pickup artist bs? If it is accurate how would one do that without being manipulative and playing games?
It's bs, pickup artist advice.

You're better off being yourself. A woman wants her guy to be authentic, and she will see through anything that is less than that in a second. A woman who enjoys playing games does not make a good LTR partner.

In the beginning of any relationship, it can be difficult to read one's partner. Why muddy the water by adding a facade? Be yourself - your true self, and you'll be more likely attract a woman who is genuinely attracted to you and who is authentic in her communication with you.

I really like my partner to challenge me intellectually - is that what they meant?
