Hello everyone!
Just a general topic to pass a slow Friday. How do/did you know you were in love? Were there times you realized it wasn't love but just lust/infatuation?

I guess I think of being truly in love as no matter what happens or what tragedy may befall you, you will be there for that person. Even if they end up paralyzed and you have to take care of them for the rest of their life, you would do it until the end because that's how much you care. Even when they wake up in the morning with bedhead and morning breath, you want to hug them and kiss them. Or in my case, even though I have crazy parents, my boyfriend thinks it's no obstacle at all even though they still disapprove!

You'll know he really loves you when he always puts the toilet seat down.

You know you're in love when love songs start making sense.

I know I really love someone when I can honestly say I'd be willing to give my life for theirs without any hesitation.

Oh! I suppose I've been married but never in-love then.

I thought that happened when you had a broken heart?

I think there are 2 kinds of songs on the radio: the love songs that tell all about what it means to be in love, and the heartbreak songs that tell all about how much everything sucks without them. (This latter class of songs includes all of those "unrequited love" songs).

Well, I was thinking about those love songs that no sane, single person would ever find sensible ...like "I can't live/breathe without you" or "I was a nobody/nothing until I met you" - kind of songs.

I LOL when those come on the radio nowadays and wonder what kind of crazy person would ever actually fall for that carp...then, I remember that I have/did - once or twice.
