Legend, I actually had a guy tell me that he was not out to "hurt" anyone. I am tempted to send him your post because it proves that people who are not considerate can, in fact, cause damage to another human . . . to the point of making them gunshy.

I am becoming to believe that this dating thing is not for the faint of heart. You do need to use your head and ask lots of questions before you commit your heart to someone. Your smarts are the only thing between you and another heartbreak.

Every time I come back to the boards, I see the stages I have been through . . . not through my own posts, but through the posts of others here. And my psycho-babble BS is helping me to spot things that I never noticed before.

Live and learn. . .

Thanx for the understanding words livinagain...I could use some positive outlook right about now (or I could just be having a bad day...one of those "woke up on the wrong side of the bed" days...just feeling very melancholy today)

It would be soooooo nice to finally really let go and "exhale"....

Oh yeah... ^5 to your point about the eha boards. As I read the boards these past two years, I've had to re-discover myself as well and 'let go' of loads of psycosocial babble too. These boards can be very cathartic, and much cheaper than paying for a therapist....no truer words have ever been said
