Have you ever felt that you have a soulmate out there and
that you will with out a doubt meet them. And so because of this
you feel that it is not fair to involve your self in relationships with the opposite sex because that go beyond friendship?

This is how my life is right now. I have seen plenty of attractive women that i would like to have known. But at the same time i have always felt that my soul mate is out there for me and that there are certain steps i need to take to meet her.

what are peoples opinions about this?

Sounds like you just aren't really ready yourself? There is something you still need to work on in yourself? because one of those great women could have been her. Could BE her. But i am glad to hear you do not feel it is fair to date yet. I just got dumped out of the blue by someone who told me i was the best thing to happen to him and he adored me so much and was falling in love. I will never get to know why he left, but i wish he never would have started with me if he wasn't really ready to love or had some sort of conflicting idea about love in his head.
Just don't wait for some Hollywood version of "soulmate revealing" the moment you meet someone. Don't deny yourself love because you are expecting some trumpet to sound off when the right one walks in the room. Take time to get to know people. some of my happiest friends fell in love over time. Their relationships grew and they were ready and open to it. So if you need to take some steps first, do that.

Don't really believe in fate. I make my own. For better or worse (so to speak).

If you're not ready, you're not ready, but I'd look inside before looking to some outside entity for the reasons why.

Just my opinion.

I don't think that you can discover a soulmate quickly. Little things about a person will be revealed a little at a time.

When it happens, it is deep & can make it hard to find someone that compares to that.

It is very rare to find so I can't recommend waiting for it. Most people never find a soulmate.

I don't think that you need a soulmate to be happy. You can still have a highly deep connection with someone that is not reach that level. The upside of finding her is tremendous but so is hitting the lottery.

Good advice you've been given!

I've never felt this way. There is no fate or luck (as active force as opposed to happenstance labeled as "fate" or "luck").

I have, however, felt in the past that there was nobody out there for me. Quite possibly I was wrong.

Be careful in your search for a "soulmate" that you don't go seeking perfection, or, maybe worse, always wonder if "the" one is somewhere out there, even after you've fallen in love with someone.

(For the record, I also don't believe in "the one.")

You never know who is coming around the corner. And you will never know until you try. How do you know if she hasn't already tried to catch your attention , and you were to busy worrying about it?? Nothing happens until you take that chance. Trust your instincts my friend.

I don't believe in fate; I also don't believe in one true soulmate per person. And I think it's a mistake to avoid getting involved with women because you think they're not your soulmate.

However! Everybody's free to choose their own path in life. You just have to accept the consequences of your choice.

I am a believer in fate and destiny. It is the choices that we make that determine the outcome. As crazy as it may sound to some of you, I believe I have met my soul mate because the intense undeniable energy that we both admittedly feel and have felt with no other. Unfortunately, it is too intense for him to handle so he runs away to what is comfortable for him and what he can control. Should you ever meet her, you will know because it is an energy like no other. I am not so sure I would wait to meet her because you could be missing other important lessons that God wants you to learn. Thus, preparing you to meet the woman he designed for you or your soul mate. My situation however, I have learned to love what is and go on living my life. Not waiting for him but knowing that if it is God's will the opportunity will again present itself.
