Follow up questions:

1) OP are you the wife of the guy asking the other lady out?

2) How long has this other nonsense-the messaging etc- been tolerated/denied/swept under the rug?

3) Wow-I have been here before, sort of. My ex-brother in law had a grotesque crush on me. The only reason he's still alive is I didnt rat him out on my then-hubby. But I had to make a threat that Bro-in-law believed before it stopped, such as 'If you dont quit mucking round I'll tell your Brother and your hide will be separated from your body.'

Okay are you saying that dude you are dating is taking your sister in law to some, well something, instead of you? Just as an outside observer who can't really understand your use of the English language. Dump him he is getting with your sister in law.

One caveat, I could be wrong because I just don't understand what you are saying.
