Steve,
I think you need to tell her to call Geico and save money on her insurance!

(I don't know why I just said that. Go Phillies! and let me tell you, some of the kinkiest and risk takers live in the 'burbs...she dont know what she's missing! )

The game is called Bigger, Better and Mine!
The investment that you made is a wise investment for your future.

You did not give a very clear picture ie: The European vacation? Nor did you explain your relationship with her.

She busy looking in everyone's backyard to see who's grass is greener. I assume that she recently visited someone who has a town house in the city and now that's the life for her.
It's like dating a small town version of Paris Hilton who's mind is subject to change. You can remain friends and go out with her now and then, but do not take her seriously on anything. We used to call lady's like that "Fruit Cakes".

People say what they mean, and mean what they say.

This girl is crazy, please stay away.

You keep seeing her, she'll ruin your day.

If she wants another chance, he should answer "nay"?

lol! I think she thought...hey, I am going to call Steve and see how he is doing. Then after she spoke with you, she remembered why she did not want to pursue a relationship with you.

Yeah, she is a little immature to think she had changed or you had changed but I don't think she is crazy - just a little thoughtless.

The only thing you did wrong was try to give her a second chance.

This is strangely familiar to me.

She is not crazy, but she's clearly not right for you. What she is, is she's afraid. She's afraid of success, but at the same time, she's afraid of change. She doesn't know what "success" really means, but its obviously not what she's comfortable with. She's comfortable with the city because that is what she knows. However, at the same time, she's not succeeding in the city but she's afraid to change the situation to succeed because she's deathly afraid of handling the change.

I dated someone like this. I knew her for many years and when we dated, it was the happiest i've ever seen her. Our relationship ended because she did not want to change. She was afraid to leave her comfort zone, even though her comfort zone was clearly toxic and damaging to her. Her comfort zone and me did not mesh. She didn't know any better and the unknown outside the toxic zone scared her more than the current situation.

Its her, its not you. You are not crazy, but she has to be brave enough to change her situation if you two are going to date successfully. Something that is so simple for you, is unfathomable to her. There is no way for you to understand this fully. To you, it makes no sense whatsoever, but to her, it is a vast chasm full of fear and despair.
